LIVE from the Ft Lauderdale International Boat Show with Miami LEGEND DJ Laz. Laz recounts a story for the ages as his boat gets stolen in South Florida and ends up in Mexico. Laz goes to Mexico to recover and finds more than he bargained for. Human trafficking and a whole ring of stolen boats were uncovered.
Bruce Marx, a Miami Attorney, also recounts a story of having his electronics stolen and the campaign he has been waging to encourage Electronics companies to use passcodes and other theft prevention ideas. He has created a community of boaters in South Florida concerned about preventing theft and works with Law Enforcement agencies to stop theft or recover vessels.
Eric Martinez has a product called LocMarine which monitors vessel status, bilge pump activity, shore power, battery, high water alarm, backup power alert, GPS location and a Geo Fence Alarm among other features..
