Davis Bennett is a young filmmaker who has burst out onto the scene. Having only fished and shot video for only a few years, Davis’s work never shows his relative inexperience. Through my son, Hayden, he began following Davis on Instagram and has been interested in his work ever since.

I caught Davis between projects that he is working on with BlacktipH and discussed his story, how he has been able to achieve the success he has, and what he can attribute that success towards.

A job at UPS taught Davis valuable work skills, but he decided to move into a different direction to pursue a career in video. Davis and I discuss social media, its effects on fishing, what he is trying to accomplish, other filmmakers who have had an influence on him, and much more.
