I first discovered Cole because of his impressive Instagram photos (triplec.cole) and especially some of his underwater shots. Brady Trautman & Alex Blue - From SV Delos To 80 Degrees North Documentary

Brady Trautman and Alex Blue of SV Delos fame were part of a team that just released an amazing documentary about their sailing trip around the island of Svalbard. Together with Brian Trautman and Karin, they teamed up with Andy Schell and Mia Karlsson on the SV Isbjorn to form an 8 person team for this adventure. Svalbard lies 600 miles north of Norway and part of the island is above 80 degrees north, or the Arctic Circle. Brady and Alex have some incredible stories from the trip about the wildlife, geology, ice and also trash from fishing gear, nets and general plastic coming from around the world. The adventure was incredible and it spawned the desire for more while asking the questions about how to responsibly visit a fragile area such as Svalbard. Kevin Pavlidis - Snakeaholic - 18 Foot 9 Inch Python Florida Record

Kevin Pavlidis is employed by the FWC to capture invasive snakes and is also an alligator wrestler at the Everglades Holiday Park with the Gator Boys. He recently caught an 18 foot 9 inch python with Ryan Ausburn to set the new Florida Record. This week I had the chance to sit down with Nick Lavery, a U.S. Green Beret Warrant Officer. Nick has earned three Purple Hearts, a Silver Star, a Bronze Star, and a Bronze Star with Valor, for heroism in combat. With an incredible story of perseverance after he suffered many injuries in battle, resulting in having his leg amputated above the knee, Nick overcame tremendous odds to become the first above the knee amputee Green Beret to return to active duty. Through this experience, Nick gained a unique perspective and offers some incredible advice about life, perseverance, motivation, and work ethic that can benefit each of us. Conservationist Mike Kimmel AKA The Python Cowboy

This week I had the opportunity to sit down with Mike Kimmel, who is more commonly known as The Python Cowboy. Mike is contracted by the state of Florida to help remove many different invasive species including pythons, iguanas, hogs, and many other species. Earlier this year, Mike caught a new Florida record python, measuring over 17 feet in length. Mike was bitten by the python during the capture and filmed the whole experience. Monte Burke - Author Of Lords of the Fly - Homosassa FL Obsession Of Giant Tarpon

This week I sat down with Monte Burke to discuss his new book, Lords of the Fly. I was lucky enough to get an early copy of the book and give it a read before our interview. This book features some of my all time heroes and tells the incredible story of chasing after the world record tarpon in the late 70’s and early 80’s in Homosassa, Florida. Monte traces the history of Saltwater Flyfishing. This is an incredibly interesting story, featuring legends like Steve Huff, Dale Perez, Lefty Kreh, Chico Fernandez, Mark Sosin, Stu Apte, Tom Evans, Flip Pallot, Billy Pate, Ralph Delph, tom McGuane, Jim Harrison, Russell Chattem, Guy De La Valdene, Ted Williams, Andy Mill, and many others who were responsible for early innovation or obsessed with catching the world record tarpon on the fly. This story is full of friendships and rivalries, some even escalating to sinking boats, ruining marriages, and much more. Monte really dives into this in his book, interviewing many of these people to get the exact story. Monte has a background of working for Forbes, where he learned the best way to get accurate information, and he does a ton of digging to make sure that he got this wild story fully accurate.
