This week I had the chance to sit down with Nick Lavery, a U.S. Green Beret Warrant Officer. Nick has earned three Purple Hearts, a Silver Star, a Bronze Star, and a Bronze Star with Valor, for heroism in combat. With an incredible story of perseverance after he suffered many injuries in battle, resulting in having his leg amputated above the knee, Nick overcame tremendous odds to become the first above the knee amputee Green Beret to return to active duty. Through this experience, Nick gained a unique perspective and offers some incredible advice about life, perseverance, motivation, and work ethic that can benefit each of us. Be sure to listen to the full episode, because this one is packed with knowledge. And don’t forget to share this with someone who might fine it interesting or helpful.
